Temporary Transit is a special French registration allowing temporary driving of new individual cars with great benefits.
Any person, of any nationality (whether or not French), residing outside the European Union or in a French Overseas County or Territory (DOM-TOM), has the possibility of purchasing a new vehicle in mainland France exempt from taxes for a 21 to 355 days stay. It is an amazing alternative to long-term rental.
You can easily recognized these new vehicles thanks to their white characters on a red background on each registration plate!
